The Thailand Master diving safari's initial exploration typically begins at High Rock, a site celebrated for its exceptional macro life. The dive is often punctuated by surprises such as bamboo sharks and rays resting on the sandy patches.
Venturing further, the route includes the renowned Black Rock, a substantial granite formation rising from the open sea. This remote site, considered by many to be one of the premier dive locations in the Andaman Sea due to its isolation and rich biodiversity, offers 2 distinct experiences. Under optimal conditions, it serves as a pelagic cleaning station where mantas are known to appear in significant numbers. In their absence, divers can focus on the rock's vibrant coral crust, which teems with smaller marine wonders.
The liveaboard adventure continues at the Shark Cave area, which encompasses 3 distinct sites and an underwater tunnel known for resident nurse sharks, large blotched stingrays, and a fascinating array of crustaceans, including mantis shrimps. Further north, North Twin and its adjacent pinnacle present another compelling opportunity for encounters with majestic manta rays, alongside occasional sightings of eagle rays, mobula rays, and the often-spotted leopard shark. At Western Rocky, the beautiful submerged seascape of coral-covered boulders sets the stage for truly comprehensive dives, where encounters can range from the diminutive harlequin shrimp to the awe-inspiring, nonchalant passage of a whale shark.
On the penultimate day of the safari, 2 morning dives are scheduled. Following this, the liveaboard will commence its return journey to port to facilitate necessary immigration procedures for disembarkation the following day.
Day 8
