More details about the plans for the diving safari will be given once all the guests have arrived on the boat. Dinner inside the saloon will be a great moment to meet the other divers that will share this amazing liveaboard experience with you. The boat will leave port in the early hours of the next day.
Core Days
There will be up to 4 dives a day, usually with 2 morning dives followed by an afternoon dive, and either a sunset or a night dive. Dives will be done at some very special and world famous reefs and wrecks. Ras Mohamed is one of the best kept national parks in Egypt. Its waters are rich in nutrients, attracting pelagics. In the summer months even schools of scalloped hammerheads might visit. Tiran is world famous for its exceptional variety of corals and its strong southwestern currents. It’s home of a lot of big fish in the Red Sea. The Thistlegorm is one of the most fascinating wrecks in the Red Sea. It is a British ship that was hit by a German bomb during World War II. It lies at 32m, on a sandy sea bottom with its cargo ready for you to explore: trucks, motorcycles, jeeps, car tyres, military uniforms...
The Rosalie Moeller is in an upright position and in very good condition, with the winches and the winch houses still intact. The cargo of coal is still visible, while in the galley you can find pots and pans still hanging above a large stove. Abundant fish and coral life is all around, covering the decks and railings. Trevallies and tuna can be seen feeding during the morning hours. Shaab Abu Nuhas is a coral reef that has claimed several ships whose wrecks now lie in the deep. One of them is the Carnatic that lies at the base of the Abu Nuhas, with her stern at about 24m depth on the seabed. The wooden structure has rotted away, but the steel hull is visible and held together by iron supports.
Besides diving, you can snorkel or swim with dolphins, watch movies in the air-conditioned salon, smoke shisha in the Arabian cafe, sunbathe on the sun deck, enjoy the sunsets, and of course make new friends. Your vacation is about diving and relaxing.
A professional chef cooks up one mouthwatering dish after another every day. Abundant and delicious buffet-style meals are served 3 times a day and fulfil every need. The menus include soups, roasts, fish, salads, side dishes and handmade desserts. More sweets and fresh fruit are offered during the day. You can also help yourself to mineral water, soft drinks, coffee and tea.
Please note that there will only 2 dives on the last full day of the tour. The final night is spent again in Hurghada.
Day 8
Disembarkation starts at around 11:00 hrs, after a final breakfast on the boat. You can arrange with the crew to be transported back to the airport or to a local hotel.
