For scuba divers seeking to explore Belize’s renowned atolls, the Belize Aggressor III liveaboard represents a dedicated platform for serious diving discovery. As part of the globally respected Aggressor Fleet, this vessel brings decades of operational expertise to the heart of the Western Caribbean. Its tours are thoughtfully designed to showcase the pinnacle of Belizean diving, focusing on the pristine ecosystems of Lighthouse Reef, the iconic Great Blue Hole, and the remote splendour of Glover’s Reef. This is not merely a dive trip; it is a week-long immersion into some of the best preserved and biologically rich marine environments in the region, delivered with a focus on reliability and diver-centric service.
The operational philosophy of the Aggressor Fleet centres on creating seamless, safe, and enriching experiences. The Belize Aggressor III embodies this through consistent, Saturday-to-Saturday schedules that maximise time at the legendary Great Blue Hole, and the stunning walls of Turneffe and Lighthouse reefs. The diving itself offers variety, from exhilarating wall dives and gentle reef drifts to optional deeper explorations, catering to a range of experience levels within a framework of managed, guided diving.
Designed for functional comfort, the 110-foot monohull accommodates up to 18 guests in 9 well-appointed, en-suite cabins. The layout is intelligently planned to separate social and dive operations areas. The heart of the liveaboard is its expansive dive deck, featuring individual gear storage, dedicated camera stations with air hoses, and in-place nitrox fills, facilitating an effortless rhythm of up to 5 dives per day. Above, a spacious sun deck with a hot tub Jacuzzi and shaded lounge offers a perfect vantage point for relaxation between dives.
Belize Aggressor guest experience is further enhanced by a commitment to convenience and ongoing education. The onboard team includes dedicated dive guides and instructors, supporting everything from guided group dives to continuing education courses. While marine life encounters - from resident reef sharks and eagle rays to prolific macro life - are a core attraction, the approach is one of respectful observation, allowing the natural environment to reveal its wonders. The inclusion of amenities like a photo centre, and available rental equipment, underscores the liveaboard’s suitability for both casual divers and underwater imaging enthusiasts.
Beyond the diving, the Aggressor values of comfort and local engagement shine. The vessel’s saloon provides a communal space for daily briefings and socialising, complemented by inclusive beer and wine service. As the week at sea concludes on Friday, the operator facilitates seamless connections to land-based excursions, including cultural tours to ancient Mayan sites, allowing for a well-rounded conclusion to your Belizean liveaboard adventure.

Core Days
Over the next week onboard the Belize Aggressor, you'll explore the breathtaking reefs of Turneffe Atoll and Lighthouse Reef. The diving is suitable for all levels, with generally mild currents allowing you to immerse yourself at ease in the stunning underwater landscapes.
The cruise will include popular dives sites such as the Great Blue Hole. Descend into the colossal collapsed cavern to witness the ancient stalactites that hang from the wall at 110 feet (35m). The surrounding crown reef is a nursery for juvenile fish, as well as sea turtles.
The Elbow offers one of your best chances to encounter large pelagics. Prepare to be amazed by huge schools of jacks and snapper, eagle rays, reef sharks, and sometimes hammerhead sharks.
Experience the magic of a large swim-through at Silver Caves, often inhabited by a shimmering vortex of thousands of silversides. The site is also a gathering point for big black groupers and the ubiquitous school of horse-eyed jacks.
Dive through the majestic site of Cathedral, marked by colorful, steeple-like coral formations separated by sandy channels. The area is a hub for marine life, including black groupers, jacks, several species of angelfish, and even Spanish dancers on night dives.
Then at West Point, explore a fascinating labyrinth of vertical reef buttresses that start in shallow water. The walls are adorned with black coral, deep-water gorgonians, and giant barrel sponges, while the sandy bottom is alive with garden eels, peacock flounders, and stingrays.
Your adventure isn't limited to diving the depths of the Caribbean. Weather permitting, you'll visit Half Moon Caye to visit a bird sanctuary and see the red-footed boobies and frigate birds from a treetop observation deck.

"
Very good operation all in all, except for the fact that we didn't go to the Blue Hole. Nice boat (cabins smaller than appeared to be on pictures). Excellent predisposition of the Captain on giving me my own cabin, since there was no space on the boat. Great service, specially Fermin Carpio, the boat engineer, on guiding many of my dives and showing me every little and big thing there was to see underwater. and Yannis, the boat cook, catering to my needs when she realized I didn't eat spicy food." -
Vanessa Carras, Argentina, 31 January 2013 ...
"
The service onboard was excellent. The crew were amazing, very friendly and very helpful. The facilities onboard were very good and the equipment we rented was of a higher than average standard. When anything didn't work, it was replaced immediately. The food onboard was brilliant too." -
