The Bahamas Aggressor I liveaboard represents a proven standard for divers seeking a seamless, professional, and dedicated dive vacation in the Bahamas. This 100-foot motor yacht is purpose-built for divers, operating weekly Saturday-to-Saturday cruises designed to maximize time at the archipelago's most sought-after sites. Part of the globally recognized Aggressor Fleet, it offers a turn-key experience where every detail is engineered to support a week of liveaboard exploration. With a strict limit of just 14 guests, the atmosphere is focused yet personal, ensuring small dive groups and attentive service from a crew dedicated to the Aggressor motto: "We do it right."
The vessel's layout prioritizes diver logistics and comfort. The large, uncluttered dive deck is the operational heart, featuring individual gear stations, 2 freshwater showers, and dedicated camera tables with low-pressure air hoses for safe equipment preparation. Diving is conducted directly from the vessel, allowing for a flexible schedule of up to 5 dives per day, including night dives. For those certified, nitrox is available to extend bottom time. Recognizing that modern liveaboard diving is often about 'capturing that moment', the Bahamas Aggressor I includes a unique asset: a fully equipped photo and video editing center in the saloon, allowing photographers to charge, download, and edit their work between dives - a feature that underscores the operator's understanding of its guests' passions.
After a day of diving, the liveaboard yacht offers comfortable spaces to relax and recharge. The air-conditioned main saloon provides a communal area for briefings, viewing the day's footage, or enjoying the entertainment system. On the sun deck, a welcome hot tub offers a place to unwind under the stars. Accommodations are functional and private, with all cabins featuring ensuite facilities. The culinary approach is designed to satisfy an active diver's appetite, with buffet-style breakfasts and lunches and full-service dinners featuring a mix of American classics, local specialties, and weekly highlights like a deck BBQ. Beverages, including a selection of local beer and wine, are included, removing the need for a tab at the end of your cruise.
Choosing a Bahamas Aggressor liveaboard means joining a network with over 40 years of experience in operating dedicated dive vessels worldwide. The 'Aggressor Advantage' is a commitment to consistency, safety, and dive-centric service. The crew are not just staff but experienced dive professionals and local guides focused on facilitating your underwater experience. A cherished fleet tradition is the Friday evening sunset cocktail party, after which guests and crew often dine ashore at a local restaurant - a real opportunity to experience a taste of Bahamian culture and celebrate the week's adventures together, with arrangements handled by the crew.
The Bahamas Aggressor I specializes in 2 distinct itineraries, each showcasing a different dimension of Bahamian diving. On its Exuma Cays route departing from Nassau, the focus is on the dramatic walls, lush coral reefs, and varied animal encounters of the archipelago, with iconic dives at sites like the Lost Blue Hole and Pillar Wall. The alternative Tiger Beach tour, departing from Freeport, offers a completely different experience centered on the remote, shallow sand flats of the Little Bahama Bank, renowned for observational dives with tiger sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, lemon sharks, and the occasional great hammerhead.
The Bahamas Aggressor I is designed for liveaboard divers who want to focus on diving. It eliminates the hassles of daily boat logistics, tank refills, and meal planning, offering instead a streamlined week where the rhythm is set by the dive schedule. It is an ideal choice for photographers, for those valuing the camaraderie of a small group of serious divers, and for anyone who appreciates the reliability of a globally trusted operator. It promises not extravagance, but excellence in the elements that matter most: efficient diving, expert local guidance, and a comfortable, functional home on the water from which to discover the submerged wonders of the Bahamas.
There are 5 Deluxe double/twin bed staterooms (with a lower double bed and upper single bed) and 1 Quad 4-share stateroom with 2 sets of twin bunk beds. All staterooms on the Bahamas Aggressor I liveaboard have en-suite bathrooms and are on the lower deck.

After the briefing, you will enjoy a welcome dinner as the boat anchors for the night. A restful evening in your comfortable cabin will prepare you for the week of diving ahead.
Core Days
Each day, you will experience up to 4-5 incredible dives at the Bahamas' most breathtaking underwater sites.
In the Nassau area, your diving will begin at the Lost Blue Hole, a massive underwater sinkhole surrounded by coral heads, stingrays, and schools of tropical fish. The sandy bottom around the hole shelters small critters like banded jawfish and seminole gobies. Nurse sharks are frequently seen here, and during spring, you may spot blacknose sharks patrolling the depths. Nearby, Periwinkle Reef offers excellent macro diving, where you can observe fascinating small marine life in shallower waters.
As the liveaboard cruise moves to the Exuma Cays, you will dive at Amberjack Reef, known for its abundant fish life, including reef sharks and large groupers. During your safety stop, bigeye trevallies often surround divers in mesmerizing schools. The Austin Smith Wreck, an intact tugboat, provides an exciting exploration site with marine life thriving on its structure. Dramatic wall dives await at Cathedral and Pillar Wall, where colorful sponges and black corals attract turtles and eagle rays. For adrenaline-pumping drifts, The Washing Machine delivers strong currents that bring in pelagic action.
You might also explore Barracuda Shoals, where barracuda schools patrol the reef, and Wax Cut Drift, a thrilling ride through canyons. If conditions allow, the liveaboard itinerary may include Eleuthera's Monolith, a stunning coral pillar, or Half Moon Cay's Empress Pinnacles, known for its impressive coral formations.
One shark feed dive is included in each Bahamas Aggressor I liveaboard trip, offering close encounters with Caribbean reef or nurse sharks. For those who love night diving, sites like Jeep Reef or Cracked Coral Head reveal the reef's nocturnal activity.
On the final afternoon, the boat returns to Nassau for provisioning and fueling. You will have free time to explore the island, shop, or relax. The crew will host a sunset cocktail party, and dinner will be served at a local restaurant, with reservations and transportation arranged for you.

Nearby, Fish Tales dazzles with its forest of gorgonians, yellow sea whips, orange spiny rods, and giant sea fans, home to huge numbers of tropical fish.

Spacious boat space in the common areas. En-suite bathroom is very tiny, especially in the quad cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub. Good food and crew was great." -

"
The crew was the best! However, the boat is old, run down, worn out, never again. The strength of the cruise was the boat crew. With a lesser crew the tripwould have been a failure." -
