This 'Sinai Classic' dive safari is a popular option for those wanting to dive the very best of the north and wrecks region around the Sinai Peninsula. The world famous Thistlegorm was a World War II ship, bombed by the Germans while delivering a cargo of ammunition and war materials. With its cargo machinery and equipment all neatly stowed in its open holds, this wreck would be a highlight of a diving tour anywhere in the world. Ras Mohamed National Park is renowned for its breath-taking walls rich in gorgonian fans and soft corals that are frequented by large schools of snapper, tuna and trevallies. Turtles, crocodilefish, blue-spotted sting rays, scorpionfish and lionfish are always around in this scuba diving paradise. You will also dive the famous reefs of the Strait of Tiran: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon. These magnificent formations, rising from the depths, are often frequented by large pelagics, including hammerheads, due to the abundance of currents.
You can expect 4 dives per day on each full diving day, with 3 dives provided on the penultimate day, before the boat cruises back to port.
Delicious meals will appeal to every diver's appetite and taste, involving international and Italian cuisine, plus many incredible Arabic delicacies. Meals are served buffet style in the dedicated dining area in the air-conditioned saloon. A pre-breakfast, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks will each be followed by dives. Dinner is served after the night dive. Biscuits, toast, candy bars, cakes and fruit are available throughout the day. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and drinking water will keep you hydrated.
