Welcome onboard the Blue Force 2 - a liveaboard boat based in Sharm El Sheikh that specialises in diving trips around the Sinai Peninsula and the northern wrecks of the Red Sea, including the Thistlegorm, Abu Nuhas, Ras Mohammed and Tiran. There is no minimum number of logged dives required for guests to join these cruises, making it the ideal choice for first time liveaboard divers.
Blue Force 2 is a relatively small boat but takes only 18 guests, who are comfortably accommodated in twin cabins with private bathrooms. You have the choice of an economy cabin on the lower deck, or opting for an upper deck cabin with seaview windows for a small supplement.
The main deck features a large open plan air-conditioned saloon with a lounge and a dining area. Other common areas include a full sun deck and a small tanning area in the bow, and an outdoor bar and social area - a popular choice for after hour cocktails and a beer or two.
Diving activities are conducted from the 2 Zodiacs with 40 HP Yamaha engines. Guests kit up on the dive deck, where you will find personal storage spaces, a camera table, rinse tanks, bathrooms and showers. Nitrox use is free of charge onboard.

Days 2-7
This northern route of the Red Sea includes most of the highlights of diving in the Sinai Peninsula and surrounding area, including many of its famous wrecks, some stunning reef diving, and the possibility of dolphin encounters. The most famous wreck, the SS Thistlegorm, will leave you in awe: it was sunk in 1941 after being bombed by the German Luftwaffe! With its historical cargo of World War II machinery and equipment, all neatly stowed in its open holds, the wreck of the Thistlegorm would be a highlight of diving anywhere in the world. Ras Mohamed, at the southernmost tip of the Sinai, is one of the best kept national parks in Egypt. Its waters are rich in nutrients, attracting pelagics. You will also dive the 4 famous reefs of the Strait of Tiran: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon. These magnificent formations, rising from the depths, are often frequented by large pelagics due to the abundance of currents, including schooling hammerheads during the northern hemisphere summer time.
Each day begins with a light breakfast, followed by the 1st morning dive of the day. After that you can return to enjoy a full cooked breakfast. Shortly after you will prepare for the 2nd dive of the day. Back on board you can dry off and settle down for lunch and chat about your morning dives. After some relaxation time, you will start to get ready for the 3rd dive of the day. Night dives will take place before dinner. All meals are served buffet style in the indoor dining area, and are a mixture of international and Egyptian food. Chicken, turkey, beef, sea food, vegetables, pasta, rice, salad, and fruit are featured. Snacks are available all day including biscuits, cake and fruit to keep you fully energised. In the evening you can enjoy a dinner, then share a drink or two in the outdoor bar and discuss the day’s events with your fellow divers.
On day 7 the last dive of the trip is usually scheduled for 3 pm, then the boat returns to shore at around 7 pm to overnight in the marina.
Day 8
After breakfast, you will disembark in Sharm El Sheikh and transfer to a nearby hotel. Today you have free time to enjoy the local shopping and night life, whilst off-gassing the residual nitrogen. You will take dinner and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 9
You will wake up after a peaceful night and, after breakfast, say farewell to all your new friends. The crew will transfer you back to the airport.
