Blue Manta, built in 2015, is a 45m long steel-hulled liveaboard, cruising Komodo, Raja Ampat and beyond. This spacious motor vessel, purpose-built for divers, takes up to 20 guests in comfort on Indonesia diving tours around the very best sites. Blue Manta was conceived with single travellers in mind and many of the cabins can be used for single occupancy without a large supplement.

A lot of thought has gone into planning the construction of Blue Manta. There are brightly lit spaces with large picture windows on the main and upper deck. You can choose from the indoor and outdoor dining areas. Cabins and common areas are very comfortable and furnished to a high standard.

Some of the finer features of Blue Manta include 24 hour satellite Wi-Fi internet, in-cabin speakers for announcements, complimentary laundry service and both hot water showers and individual rinse tanks on the dive deck! Photographers will appreciate the large outdoor work table and more particularly the designated dry camera room catering to every photographer's needs! You can expect comfort and quality, space and stability in a bright relaxing environment on board the lovely Indonesian Blue Manta liveaboard.

Day 1
Land at Sorong airport where the Blue Manta crew greets you and takes you to the harbour where you can finally see this amazing liveaboard. Your first hours on board will be spent on getting to know the boat, the crew and the other guests that will share this fantastic diving safari with you. A possible check dive might take place in the afternoon, depending on guest arrival times. If not, have a massage or simply relax until dinner is served. Your diving days are about to start.

Days 2-8
The smell of freshly baked bread is one of the 2 good reasons for wakening up early. The other one is the 1st dive of the day that follows the light breakfast. You will soon get used of the daily routine that includes 3 main meals and 3 more dives, with a bigger breakfast of bacon, toasts and eggs cooked as you like, or fresh fruits and cereals if you look for a lighter option, before the 2nd morning dive. A buffet of Western and Asian choices at lunch time will also be the right moment for sharing feedback from the diving with your fellow dive buddies, while at dinner the cruise director will discuss with his guests the schedule for the next day. A 3rd dive in the afternoon and a 4th dive (night dive) will fill your days with enough emotions and memories to bring back home after the trip.
You have come to the right place, as Raja Ampat never fails to deliver great diving, being the world's richest display of underwater flora and fauna. The right playground for divers from all nationalities that come to witness the pristine and colourful corals that attract hundreds of different species of fish, from tiny critters to big pelagics. Schools of fish will welcome you in their habitats, some of them will become common encounters on each dive, especially reef fish such as damsels, anthias, soldierfish and angelfish; while other encounters will be less frequent and therefore more unique, such as cleaning stations visited by manta rays or sandy slopes where wobbegong sharks like to rest before their night hunting. Expert and amateur photographers will be thrilled with the dedicated areas on board the yacht, where you can safely set up, rinse and dry your equipment. This cruise will be a blast!
Please note that only 2 morning dives will take place on the last full day of the safari. Blue Manta then cruises back to Sorong while its crew washes your dive gear so that it will be dry and ready to be packed before you reach port.

Triton Bay is considered a dive destination of absolute world class with its own unique attractions. It is relatively unexplored, with wonderful biodiversity and unique soft coral gardens. Huge forests of black coral and rugged rocks provide fantastic scenery both above and below water. Potential sightings include whale sharks, epaulette sharks, resident pilot whales, squadrons of bumphead parrotfish. Critter appearances include frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish and nudibranchs galore.
The smell of freshly baked bread is one of the 2 good reasons for wakening up early. The other one is the 1st dive of the day that follows the light breakfast. You will soon get used of the daily routine that includes 3 main meals and 3 more dives, with a bigger breakfast of bacon, toast and eggs cooked as you like, or fresh fruits and cereals if you look for a lighter option, before the 2nd morning dive.
Please note that only 2 morning dives will take place on the last full day of the safari. Blue Manta then cruises to port while its crew washes your dive gear so that it will be dry and ready to be packed before you reach land.

Day 11
Time for farewells as you have reached the end of your safari. Enjoy breakfast with your fellow divers before heading to Kaimana airport or hotel, depending on your plans.

"The boat was very comfortable and stable, the staff were extremely friendly and the cruise director Cedric was an excellent leader, providing information timely and he managed to accommodate people's requests.
