The Phoenix is a liveaboard catamaran that operates 6 night Bahamas sailing and diving cruises around New Providence and Exuma Cays. The vessel was completely renovated in 2018 to meet guest desires. Built by a world-class French manufacturer, this 45 ft / 14m fiberglass-hull catamaran has a maximum capacity of only 8 guests which provides a more exclusive experience.
You will explore the natural beauty of the Exumas and Nassau, with a choice of over 100 dive sites with walls, drift dives, stunning wrecks, caves and blue holes. The area is renowned for its marine diversity with huge schools of fish and plenty of sharks. Dives are made from 2 motorised skiffs that offer plenty of space for each diver. A dive professional will accompany you to share his experience and knowledge of the reefs, as well as to improve in-water diver-safety .
Guests are accommodated in 4 double bed cabins, each with its own washroom and shower. Meals are served in the outdoor lounge/dining area, where you can enjoy a mixture of local and international dishes. There is also a 220/110V charging station in the saloon area. Relax onboard in the forward area of the main deck, or on the shaded sundeck.

Day 1
Whether you arrive on the Friday or the Saturday morning, you need to be at Nassau's Bayshore Marina by 11 am for boarding. The tour leader will welcome you onboard the Phoenix and assign you to your cabin to unpack. After lunch there will be a boat orientation and safety briefing, and then an introduction to the plans for the coming days. Once the catamaran departs, there will be a check dive at a site around New Providence. Then dinner will be served before guests settled down for a good night's rest.
Days 2-6
Expect up to 4 guided dives a day on some of the most amazing dive sites that the Bahamas has to offer, with Tiger Beach been one of the highlights of your diving safari. A beautiful beach area with a white sandy bottom that is visited by different species of sharks: tiger sharks, lemon sharks, nurse sharks, great hammerheads and Caribbean reef sharks. Just kneel on the sand and enjoy the action all around you. Fish Tales is another amazing dive site in Grand Bahama where you will experience plenty of adrenaline-filled shark encounters.
Bimini Islands are home to a number of very exciting and varied dive sites. Bimini Road is a wall which plummets some 4,000 ft (1,300m) and is claimed to be part of the lost city of Atlantis! Elsewhere you can expect hawksbill turtles, Bermuda chubs, French grunts, stingrays, bull sharks and blacknose sharks.
3 complete meals are served daily, plus snacks throughout the whole day. You can expect international fare: chicken, pork chops, fried rice, fajitas, stroganoff, burgers, pasta and meatballs, with all sides of vegetables and salad. Breakfast is omelet, sausage, tortillas, pancakes, bagels, A selection of beverages is always on hand from soft drinks to beer, wine and rum drinks. Meals are enjoyed in the main deck dining area.
After making 3 more dives, the final night of the tour will be spent in Nassau where you can explore the island with your new buddies. Dinner is served on board in the marina.
Day 7
After breakfast, you will say your farewells and disembark.
