In 2006, the resort's Beqa Adventure Divers were awarded the AON Fiji Excellence in Tourism Award for Diving. It has the sole right to a nearby shark feeding concession. Quite probably the best shark dive in the world!! The perfect way to spend a few days as part of a wider Fijian scuba diving holiday - a few dives with huge sharks and meaty reef predators - what a great add-on!
Here you get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of seeing bull sharks up close and personal. Other regulars include the enormous tiger shark, silvertips, reef and sicklefin lemon sharks. Voted by PADI's Scuba Diver Australasia magazine as
Joint Best Shark Dive in the World. You can also dive the sites of Beqa Lagoon from here too.
This family run resort set in tropical gardens on the banks of the Qaraniqio River is your gateway to a magical scuba vacation, playing golf or simply relaxing by the pool. All international flights to the Fijian Islands arrive and depart from Viti Levu, so it's an ideal final destination for those who do not wish to take a domestic flight. It is also the perfect add-on to your holiday if you do visit the outer islands, so why not treat yourself to a few more days of unforgettable scuba diving?
Political leaders and dignitaries from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and many other Pacific nations have treated themselves to a stay here. You too can pretend to be important as a special guest of the resort. One thing is sure: although you may need only a few days here your memories of the Fiji sharks will live forever.

Customer reviews:
"Absolutely great. I only used their tanks and weight belts but their setup is professional, clean and well organised. Having been heavily involved in a scuba business and having skippered dive boats, I can say that theirs is well run. All that aside they are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The gear that they do have for hire/use is first class and in excellent condition." - Mike Morris, Australia, 29 September 2008 ...
"The dive company was very calm and professional. Their fun approach to the diving made things easier for me to get acquainted with the whole class. The setting was perfect." - Chris Fuentes, USA, 5 June 2008 ...
"The shark dives at Beqa were done very professionally. We always felt very easy and confident." - Peter and Hana Palacek, United States of America, 7 November 2006 ...
