From El Gouna, Hurghada you can go diving at the local Red Sea sites, as well as Giftun Island, the Thistlegorm, Salem Express and Abu Nuhas wrecks. The dive site schedule is arranged locally on a day to day basis, depending on where the guests wish to dive, availability, weather conditions and guests' experience.
A standard dive day begins at between 7-8:00 am (depending on the location of your hotel) and ends around 3:30-4:30 pm. Courtesy return transfers are provided for all hotels in the El Gouna area which are beyond walking distance to the dive centre. You are advised to wait outside your hotel for pick-up and driven to the relevant jetty. Boat journey times range from 45 minutes to 1½ hours. Special trips can have longer journey times. Please bring your C card, medical form and logbook (proof of 1 logged dive within the last 6 months).
The daytrip dive boats available in Hurghada vary in size, generally ranging between 17-28 metres. These are all hard boats and typically they are staffed by 4 boat crew and 2 divemasters, cruise at 10 knots, and have a saloon, toilets, kitchen, sunbathing area, shaded area, dive deck, ladders, rinse tanks and shower. The capacity varies between 18-30 divers, taking into consideration comfort levels and license numbers. All the boats carry a 40l emergency oxygen tank, MFA kit, evacuation procedures, life jackets, ship-to-shore radio and mobile phone contact.

Our Hurghada scuba diving trips run throughout the whole year and depart daily to Sha'ab El Erg, Umm Gamar, Carless Reef, Sha'ab Iris, Fanadir, Sha'ab Pinkie, Sexy Reef, Hamada, Banana Reef, Small Giftun, Abu Ramada, Gota Abu Ramada, El Aruk Gigi, Abu Hashish, Ras Disha, Halg Disha and many more (approx 40 sites). Daytrip prices normally include:
El Gouna hotel to dive boat return transfers, dives, weights and weight-belts, tanks, professionally qualified divemaster, and taxes.
Prices exclude (mandatory, unless customer provides own): Full set of rental scuba equipment (incl. dive computer) USD 28, environmental fees USD 9 - all per person per day. Unless otherwise stated, all the listed items need to be paid on arrival.
Optional extras: Transfers from Hurghada hotels (USD 17 per car per day) to be paid in advance, dive insurance, lunch and drinks USD 9 (payable in local currency) - all per person per day.
