Days 2-7
This Red Sea cruise will include diving at the 4 wrecks of Abu Nuhas, a famous reef where many ships met their watery grave. They are bedecked in corals hard and soft and are great for photography. The SS Thistlegorm is probably the best known Red Sea wreck along with the Rosalie Moeller, which are both WWII wrecks. They were bombed by the Germans while delivering ammunition to British troops. The historical cargo of machinery, vehicles and equipment make it an unforgettable wreck dive experience.
Located in Sinai, Ras Mohamed National Park, is renowned for walls covered with bright soft corals and gorgonians. Here swarm schools of snapper, tuna and trevallies as well as turtles, crocodilefish, lionfish, scorpionfish and blue-spotted stingrays. The Straits of Tiran comprise 4 famous reefs: Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon) whose nutrient-rich currents attract meaty pelagics.

Expect drift dives past walls covered in sea fans, soft corals and black corals. In the blue there may be sharks such as scalloped hammerheads, slivertips, silkies and whitetips. There are also schools of snapper, trevally, tuna and also manta rays in the summer month. The safari also includes dives on 2 nearby wrecks, the Aida II and Numidia a cargo ship lying, festooned with hard and soft corals in the shallows off Big Brother Island.

This Red Sea diving tour visits Shaab Sataya, a large horseshoe-shaped reef in the Fury Shoals. It is famous for being a playground for spinner dolphins and for its pristine hard corals. Shaab Abu Galawa Saghira features an awesome hard coral garden. Expect to see giant Napoleon wrasse that like to explore the edges of reefs, schools of snapper, angelfish and wrasses. Morning dives at Elphinstone are the best time to see scalloped hammerheads and grey reef sharks circling the reef and sheer walls covered in soft corals.

This Red Sea cruise will include diving at the wrecks of Abu Nuhas, a notorious reef where many ships met their watery end. The north side features 4 wrecks on a steep sloping reef layered with table corals. The wrecks here - the Giannis D, the Carnatic, the Chrisoula K and the Kimon M – are an attraction point for divers from all around the world, as they are now encrusted with beautiful corals that attract lots of reef fish. Inside the wrecks expect to find thousands of glassfish.
Safaga has some great diving too, offering a combination of shallow reef dives like Panorama Reef, and drop-offs, as well as an unforgettable shipwreck. The Salem Express was a 100-metre ferry boat and remains one of the largest accessible wrecks in the Egyptian Red Sea and diving it is a must for every experienced scuba diver, as long as you can handle the nature of the recent tragedy. It is now covered in hard and soft corals and hosts frogfish, blue-spotted stingrays, schools of angel and butterfly fish.
