"The boat is very well set up - I love the lift that lowers and raises the skiff into the water, so no worries about getting from the main boat to the skiff even in poor conditions, as you step off the skiff there is usually a crew member waiting with a tray of drinks and a dry towel. There are hot showers on the back deck, your dive kit stays on the skiff all week.
The food is excellent and plentiful, the rooms are comfy and the hostess services them multiple times each day. The top deck has both loungers and double hammocks. They offer 4 or 5 dives a day, so the hot tub is pretty full on and after your diving, and you can relax and enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine or two.
But the best thing as bout this boat is the crew and their teamwork, they really do their best to ensure their guests have a great experience.
As a destination Palau has pristine reefs, with stunning drop offs and prolific sea life, a place for people that like big creatures like sharks and mantas, as there is very little macro life.
We like to book with a company we know and trust and that is Dive The World, we have been booking our trips with Vic for many years and the only time we had a problem, during Covid, Dive The World had our backs. We also like the online chat, it is a quick and easy way to communicate. We also like the loyalty bonus that Dive the World offer to returning customers." - Sarah Drew, Australia, 9 January 2025...
"The food on the boat is excellent. Each meal is fantastic. Also the drinks are provided 24 hrs, keeping us hydrated. The service is outstanding, friendly staff creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for me. Cleanliness aboard the liveaboard was impeccable. The cabins, communal areas, and dive equipment were consistently well-maintained." - FUCHUN HSU, Taiwan, 18 December 2023...
"Excellent service and food. Very clean environment. Dive The World service was fast and convenient." - Chou Jung, Taiwan, 18 December 2023...
"Boat and service excellent - helped by the fact that the boat was only about 40% full. Handled the diving process and equipment (diving and photographic) very efficiently. All staff were friendly and helpful. Only 'very good' because the level of guiding was not as high as I have experienced elsewhere. To be fair, Palau is a much higher labour-cost country than most of SE Asia, and the website did not promise fully guided dives. But in practice we did have at least 2 guides with us on every dive, and their spotting of marine life in particular was not as good or generous as I have had elsewhere.
Dive The World gave rapid replies, usually helpful and personalised, and answering any questions that I have raised. Willingness to look at a range of options to find the best for me (though that did not apply much on this occasion, with only a limited choice in Palau). Good prices, including discounts where available." - Gordon Bryden Reid, Malaysia, 28 August 2023 ...
"Pros: Awesome top deck with large hammocks and lots of other places to sit/relax around the boat. Great food, often themed eg Mexican, Japanese... (overall better than Siren, but less tofu/protein options for me as a vegetarian). Dive gear stays on the dive boat so we're not carrying it around.
Cons: Typical big metallic boat (and the dive boat mechanics were weird). I enjoyed the uniqueness of the Siren boat more than Aggressor. Snacks were sometimes weird. One day morning and afternoon snack would both be savoury and the next day they'd both be sweet. I'd think a savoury each morning and a sweet each afternoon would make things more even for different people. Though they were mostly really enjoyable." - Kelda Bindel, New Zealand, 4 September 2022 ...
"Wonderful cruise! Thank you! Andy is a talented cruise director, and he did an excellent job of making the tour fun and safe. The entire crew were top notch. Ronnie is a great chef, and he accommodated my dietary restrictions. Loved how often the crew cleaned our cabins and changed the bins. Loved the hot towels, water on board, and welcome back drink after the dives. Really loved the free flow beer. Jim is a fantastic captain and guide. Dustin, Hector, Joe, and Herence are lovely, as is Bangs. The operation was smooth on all fronts. I can't think of any areas in need of improvement. Maybe offer longer cruises! Thank you for a lovely holiday! " - Charlie Boodman, USA, 10 January 2019...
"All the staff are polite, helpful and professional. Aggressor II also has new and reliable equipments that secured my dive trip. The cabin room is very spacious and nicely ventilated. Everything was satisfactory." - Yuyao Wang, China, 29 December 2015...
"Staff - excellent. Food - excellent. Cabine - excellent. Facilities: Very good because there were only nine of us in the liveaboard but I think the boat is too small if it is full (18 people). For instance, the top deck" - David Alfos, Spain, 19 October 2015...
"I had a great time, the service was excellent and the ship was great. The crew was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I rented gear which was in good repair and worked well. The food was amazing and the amenities were what could be expected from a liveaboard boat of that size." - Lora Sutter, USA, 11 October 2014 ...
"Comfortable boat, great food, friendly helpful dive staff and good diving." - Mike Geary, France, 14 April 2014 ...
"Excellent service, the chef was awesome! The dive masters were very friendly and always enthusiastic to hit the water." - Graham Austin, Canada, 8 April 2014 ...
