Blue Force One is the perfect boat for you to enjoy your diving cruise without skimping on comfort and details. At 42 metres long, modern and spacious, it was awarded as the best built liveaboard boat in 2018 by the Maldives liveaboard Association. This stunning vessel focusses on the central atolls, but also runs regular trips to the south and to Hanifaru Bay in their peak seasons.
Guest accommodations for 24 passengers are of an excellent standard and there is a choice of twin or double beds, deluxe cabins, suites and junior suites. All cabins have complete fitted bathrooms, with the suites sporting private jacuzzi bath tubs for 2 people. Meals are served buffet style, outside when the weather permits. Spreads include vegetables, chicken, beef, fish, seafood, pasta, rice, soups, fruit, and ice‐cream.
Latest generation marine technology is evident in the lighting system – for the interiors, exteriors and underwater. There are 2 guest Jacuzzis – one in the bow and one in the stern, 3 sunbathing areas with sunbeds and mattresses (in the bow, stern and the upper bridge), and an open-air bar on the upper deck. The huge saloon has sofas, armchairs, a large TV with in house channels, PC (for photo editing), a boutique, and a music and movie system. For water sports, there is a kayak, fishing, paddle SUPs, and an inflatable Jobe banana boat. Non-diving activities also include fisherman village, island and sand bar visits.
Dives will be conducted from the dhoni, an 18m long auxiliary boat where the air compressors, nitrox membrane system and all scuba equipment are stored. The dhoni is completely independent from the Blue Force One mothership, and thanks to its better maneuverability it is quite easy to access the dive spots and to collect divers from the water.
The yacht is now equipped with Horizon Semi-closed Rebreather units and Divertug Tek 12 Under water Scooters for rent. If you are already Horizon-certified then take advantage of this opportunity to extend your dive times by more than 50% and see more underwater action. If you are not qualified then the course is also available onboard, so sign up now!

Days 2-7
The aim of the liveaboard safari is to find pelagic fish, sharks, rays, turtles and dolphins. There will be drift dives in passages and channels, submerged pinnacles, manta cleaning stations, and a wreck dive or two. Miyaru Faru is aptly named since ‘miyaru’ means shark in Dhivehi and not surprisingly this is where you can encounter the ‘big boys’. An overhang protects you from the current and provides an excellent viewing spot for the impressive parade of pelagics and patrolling grey reef sharks, or even the occasional hammerhead. The channel at Felidhoo atoll has a spectacular wall showcasing caves, swim-throughs and overhangs festooned with colourful soft corals and bushes of black corals. Other highlights during your safari may include dozens of huge nurse sharks, midnight snappers, kingfish, schools of eagle rays and mantas, together with whale sharks feeding in the plankton-rich waters. There are 3 dives per day and 2 night dives. Usually there is only 1 dive on the final day before the yacht returns to port.
Non-divers will enjoy the excellent snorkeling opportunities, kayaks and paddleboards. Deserted islands and traditional fishermen villages are visited to discover more of the country and, if the weather permits, there will be a BBQ beach lunch.
All meals onboard the Blue Force One are buffet style and vary daily. They usually include vegetables, chicken, beef, fish, seafood, pasta, rice, soups, fruit, ice‐creams. Breakfasts include beef-bacon, sausages, eggs cooked to guest taste (omelette, scrambled, fried etc) , pastries, bread, cereals, milk, yoghurt, fresh juices. Cold water, coffee are tea available 24 hours a day.
