Sau Bay is an intimate boutique diving resort and spa facing across the Somosomo Strait to Taveuni, nestled among 99 acres of virgin rainforest. This quiet bay in Vanua Levu is the perfect hideaway for those who want to dive some of Fiji's best sites, yet still stay in a comfortable and personal resort.
With accommodation comprising of just 4 ocean front cottages and 1 luxury African tent, there can only be a maximum of 14 guests at the resort. So you can be sure you are staying away from the crowds and getting plenty of personal attention. With homemade snacks, a twice daily maid service, use of SUPs, kayaks and sailing dinghies, and a weekly village tour, you will know you are not staying at an impersonal resort but rather feel more like guests of your hospitable hosts.
The resort is the first in Fiji to earn the esteemed PADI Eco Center designation and is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Rainbow Reef, Tavueni's most famous dive location, and one of Fiji's top dive spots. And for those that prefer to stroll in to the sea for a dive or snorkel, Sau Bay also has a lovely house reef. But this is more than just a dive resort for small groups, there are a lot of other activities including spa treatments and massage services, hikes and trails to explore, as well as many off-island excursions to choose from. It is also unsurprising, given the setting and the pampering, that Sau Bay is an ideal spot for honeymooners.
