Just 10 minutes boat ride from the island's airport lies Dive Kadavu Matana, an authentic Fiji island resort, catering mainly to scuba divers. Probably the first thing to strike you as you approach the resort's palm fringed beach, is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
On an island rightly famed for its rugged, untamed natural beauty, Kadavu Matana is like a cut diamond in the rough where you won't need to compromise on comfort or convenience.
The beach serves as a convenient launch point for the dive boats. The beach and the resort's central location mean that access to the northern Kadavu diving sites couldn't be any simpler. You can enjoy all the great sites and snorkeling opportunities that lie not far from the shore's golden sands.
Kadavu Matana Resort is a modern, comfortable and clean property and, above all else, is very good value for money. If you are looking for a holiday spot just a quick flight from the main island where Fijian island charm and exciting diving are waiting for you then Kadavu Matana may well be the answer.

Located on the central, northern coastline of Kadavu, this authentic dive resort is ideally placed for fast and easy access to the whole of the northern soft coral boulder and pinnacle dive sites such as Yellow Wall, as well Seafan Alley down the west coast, and Broken Stone in the north east. The most popular sites are on Namalata Reef. The other day trip from the resort is Manta Reef on the southern side of the Great Astrolabe Reef near Galoa. This is the only site visited on the Great Astrolabe Reef, due to the long distances from the resort.
