The Maldivian Dream is a 31 metre long liveaboard that specialises in extended economy cruises of 9 or more nights around the central and southern atolls. All trips depart from Male which most often avoids the need for a domestic flight at extra cost.

The motor vessel was built 2006 and refurbished 2019, and a maximum of just 18 guests are accommodated in 2-share cabins with en-suite private bathrooms on the lower and upper decks. Cards and board games are available for rainy days in the air-conditioned lounge. Meals are buffet style, with a mix of international cuisine, vegetarian-friendly choices. rice or pasta, vegetables, meat and fish.

On the operator's more attractive features are the choice of extended liveaboard routes, allowing guests to relax with more time to enjoy each atoll. There is a 9 night Central Atolls route, diving in North Male, South Male, Felidhoo, Ari and Rasdhoo atolls, and a 14-night 8 Atolls route to North and South Male, Ari, Felidhoo, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu and Gaafu atolls. The minimum number of dives are guaranteed but if weather allows, they always go the extra mile!

Diving is conducted from a separate19 metre dive dhoni boat that houses all the noisy mechanical equipment such as S80 and S100 Catalina tanks, compressors, and the membrane system that delivers free nitrox for enriched-air nitrox certified divers. The diver-to-guide ratio is 6:1, meaning quite small groups for the Maldives. There are always at least 2 instructors on each trip and nitrox courses are available onboard. Senior management are present on each cruise, bringing with them plenty of experience managing liveaboards in Egypt, Sudan and the Maldives, and delivering plenty of happy divers.
