Unbelievably diving in the Galapagos Islands has just got better! Dive The World has just received news from the Galapagos National Parks that divers will be allowed to dive 4 times per day and that night diving restrictions are to be partially lifted. This is great news for this incredible destination, travelling to the Galapagos Islands can sometimes involve a long journey, so we’re sure divers will appreciate the fact that they get more bang for their buck when they get there.
The volume of large marine life at this legendary destination is staggering, schooling scalloped hammerheads, huge whale sharks and any number of other shark species are guaranteed. Playful sea lions approach divers to satisfy their curious nature, penguins shoot past on the mad dash for the safety of the shore and we can’t think of another destination where you can dive with iguanas!
So for the lucky few who are planning to visit, the new rules will come into effect from 03 February 2013 and Dive The World will keep you up to date on how this will affect our Galapagos liveaboard cruises, so check back with us often!
