Fiji’s Matava get PADI Project AWARE Award

Matava Resort, Fiji’s premier eco-adventure resort, is proudly a PADI Project AWARE Environmental Achievement Award winner. The resort was awarded this prestigious title for 2008 thanks in part to their environmental sustainability policies.

PADI’s Project AWARE Foundation is an organisation that recognises the importance of the role of the scuba diving community in protecting the global ecosystems and rewards vision, excellence and pursuit of conservation.

In receiving this award, Matava Resort has demonstrated their commitment to preserve the underwater environments for enjoyment by future generations, by making a positive impact on local communities and the environment.

On top of all that, they provide great diving holidays too!
