British Airways has resumed flights to Sharm El-Sheikh from Gatwick, which is good news for UK divers as it offers you easy access to the hottest Red Sea dive spots of Ras Mohammed, the Dunraven wreck and the Straits of Tiran.
“The relaunch of British Airways flights to Sharm El-Sheikh links the top leisure destinations in both Egypt and the UK, opening the door to a whole new world of holiday travel experiences for our passengers.”
Mervat Alfy
British Airways, Egypt.
BA’s popular route resumed on 27 Oct 09 for the 1st time since selling its GB Airways franchise operator in Mar 08. The Boeing 777 will fly her new route 3 times a week offering a 3-class combination: World Traveller Plus, World Traveller and Club World.
Now UK divers will find it easier to explore the more than 12 wrecks in the area, including Thistlegorm which are alive with barracuda, turtles, manta rays, and many shark species.
