Thailand Visa Situation Update

If you’re still wondering about the visa situation in Thailand, then this report from the Phuket Gazette should clear it up.

In short: the new ruling applies if you are a national from a country that does not need a visa to enter Thailand. Should you enter Thailand via a land border, you will be given 15 days to stay in the country.

However, if you enter via any of Thailand’s airports, you will get 30 days to stay in the country.

The previous limit of 90 days within any given year has now been abolished, meaning unlimited visa runs.
