Hawaii
Hawaii is one of the most loved vacation spots in the world. Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, it can be accessed equally easily by tourists from the USA, Canada and Asia. Everyone knows the images of hula skirts and ukulele players, palm-fringed beaches, rich verdant hillsides, and island-forming lava flows. Among the favorite activities in Hawaii are trekking, surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, helicopter tours, or simply strolling along the beach stopping to say ‘Aloha’ at a beach bar serving tropical fruit cocktails.
Place names like Waikiki, Honolulu, Kapolei and Kahaluu Bay conjure images of happy guests relaxing and enjoying the famous Hawaiian hospitality. Being an isolated archipelago with no continental shelf means it acts like an oasis of marine life in the open ocean, bringing in manta rays, whales and sharks of many species, including oceanic whitetips, hammerheads and blacktips.
