A few minutes drive from Tulamben is the village of Kubu where you will find the new and spacious Kubu Indah Resort, built in 2010. Set on a gentle incline to the beach and with the volcano, Mount Agung as a backdrop, this resort features bungalows dotted around a lawn with coconut palms soaring overhead. Unlike some of the other resorts in Kubu, this is not a particularly high budget option, so you won’t have to pay big money to enjoy the delights of Kubu Indah and Bali scuba diving.

A swimming pool with bar and a little restaurant overlooking the beach and twinkling Lombok Strait is where guests hang out when not diving or relaxing in their well-appointed bungalows. There is also a spa facility for you to ease away your diving aches and pains.
Staying here means diving the local Kubu dive sites as well as those in the Tulamben area. You will be transported by road to the shore and use local boats to access the sites. While some of the resorts in Tulamben can feel a little cramped, there is plenty of space at Kubu Indah and a more relaxed feel with guests as happy to lounge by the pool sipping a cocktail, as they are to go diving. For a chilled out time staying in a calm and easy-going resort and diving the greater Tulamben area, Kubu Indah could be the perfect choice.

The resort has 10 air-conditioned bungalows - 6 garden rooms and 4 seaview rooms which have sea and pool views.
All the bungalows have:
- Double or twin beds

Each dive day typically starts with an early morning Liberty Wreck dive or nearby, meeting at 06:30 am. After the dive you return to the resort for breakfast. The 2nd dive at 11:00 am could be local Kubu dive or a 2 tank dive in Tulamben.
If the 2nd dive is a single tank dive then you will dive again at 2 or 3 pm. If the 2nd dive is a 2 tank dive then you will be given a complimentary lunch between dives which has been prepared by the resort.
The dive station features:

- Equipment for hire
- Oxygen and first aid
There are 2 or 3 boat or shore dives daily. The resort doesn't have its own dive boat so divers are transported by minibus and local hired boats to the dive sites.

Open house reef diving at Kubu is available from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. The friendly dive staff will carry and rinse your gear for you so you can just relax and enjoy the diving in Bali.
